Fun hand on classes teach the techniques needed to create a beautiful cake or a stained glass masterpiece. Classes for youth and adults are offered year round. Enrich you life by creating something wonderful in our classes.
Learn the basic skills to navigate a computer or develop critical problem solving strategies in our classes such as Intro to Computers, Math Workshop, Critical Reading and others.
A great form of exerciser is dance. Moving to the rhythm and sounds of Salsa, Polynesian, Hip-Hop or just about any other genera. Class offered include Belly Dance, Ballet & Tap, Flamenco and others. Students will also learn the fundamentals of various dances.
Teaches muscle development, coordination and overall motor skills, as well as and self-confidence. Increases strength through proper body balance, coordination and flexibility. Classes available for ages as young as 2 years old through 99 years young.
Enjoy music while learning to play an instrument. Classes in piano, drums violin or voice developed are offered through Alhambra School of Music. Our instructors are patient and have a years of experience teaching novice how to play.
Early childhood education has proven to be a marker for success. Enroll your child in the variety of preschool class type classes such as, Ages & Stages, Amazing 3's, Fun with toddlers or Two Too Much. Each class address a different development need of the child and teaches parents how to nature their growth.
Active Kids can release their energy and learn new sport skill in Classes like: Kung Fu , Nippon Kempo Karate, and self-defense and safety awareness training. Other skill building activities are TOT/Pre-Soccer, Classical Fencing, Kids Golf among others.

Beginning to advanced tennis instruction for all age groups, including very young children (Pee Wee Tennis). A tennis league is available for young players who wish to engage in league competition.
Classes in stretching and toning, rope jumping, as well as learning yoga and Tai Chi, which improves inner strength and balance, releases tension and improves circulation. Classes are offered for both Seniors and Adult.
A wide range of programs and activities are available for youth age 5 to 13. Programs include but not limited to After School Sports, Cheerleadering and Drill Team competitions, Sports camps, teen basketball, and much more.
Active seniors age 60 and above can take part in the various activities and programs designed to stimulate the Mind, Body and Soul. Visited with old friends or make new acquaintances during our Dinner Dances, Senior Outings, Movie Fridays or any other program held at the Joslyn Center.
During the summer months the Aquatics Division host a variety of swim lessons and life skills for all ages. Tot's, youth and teens can cool off and enjoy the pool during our Recreational Swim days at both the Alhambra and Granada pools. We also offer time for Lap Swimmers and Aqua Aerobics.
