The City of Alhambra is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a needs assessment, feasibility study, programming and general concept for the rehabilitation of the Shorb building and grounds which represents the initial step in the development of a Community Center on the site of the currently abandoned Shorb clinic structure. The City is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide the necessary studies and assessment to expand the recreational opportunities within the Alhambra community. It is envisioned that the Community Center will be a multi-use facility that would provide space for services identified in the needs assessment and it is anticipated that the services would be provided at one central location
in the renovated or expanded existing structure.
Complete written proposals must be submitted marked and received no later than 5:00 p.m. (PST) on Monday, September 9, 2019, in the following format and to the address below. Postmarks and late proposals will not be accepted. Faxed or emailed proposals will also not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.
a) One (1) original unbound and five (5) bound copies of the proposal on 8½” x 11” paper with section separators.
b) One electronic PDF format copy of all documents on a USB flash drive.
