The City of Alhambra is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a comprehensive Historic Context Statement.

The City is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide consulting services to assist City staff as it relates to the preparation of a Historic Context Assessment. Under the direction of the City’s Director of Community Development, the consultant will provide the range of expertise to carry out the Historic Context Statement.

All services provided by the consultant shall be performed by individuals who meet the qualifications, educations, and certification/licensing for the position. The successful consultant shall have the resources to provide cost effective and timely services, including providing outstanding customer service to the City and its related clients.

The deadline for question and comment period is Monday, August 3, 2020.

Complete written proposals must be submitted marked and received no later than 5:00 p.m. (PST) on Monday, August 17, 2020, in the following format and to the address below. Postmarks and late proposals will not be accepted. Faxed or emailed proposals will also not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.

a) One (1) original unbound and five (5) bound copies of the proposal on 8½” x 11” paper with section separators.

b) One electronic PDF format copy of all documents on a USB flash drive.

c) Submission of proposal shall be hand delivered or mailed to:
