Join the City of Alhambra and the San Gabriel Valley MWD for an informative workshop on water conservation and drought tolerant landscaping.

The City of Alhambra will host a Water Conservation and Drought Tolerant Landscape Workshop on Wednesday, June 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Attendees will have the opportunity to hear special presentations from Plant Goddess Landscaping, the San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District, and the California Native Plant Society.

The presentations will provide information about irrigation practices, water saving rebates, and the effective use of California native plants in landscaping. Additional vendors will be on hand to offer free materials and giveaways intended to encourage residents to use drought tolerant plants to effectively landscape homes and businesses, while conserving our most precious natural resource – water! The free workshop will be held at the Alhambra Civic Center Library – Reese Hall, 101 South First Street, in Alhambra.
