Holiday Trash Pick-Up Schedule in Effect

Customers whose regular service day is on Tuesday will experience no delay in service.

There will be no waste and recycling service on Wednesday, January 1, in observance of New Year's Day. If your regular service day is Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, service will run one day late. Please put your trash, recycle and yard waste bins out at the curb one day later than usual.

Contact Republic Services at (800) 299-4898 or visit Republic Services website for more information on holiday pick-up schedules.

Holiday Tree Recycling

Don't forget to recycle your holiday tree. Cut, real holiday trees and wreaths will be accepted at the curb by Republic Services for three weeks beginning Thursday, December 26 (artificial trees and wreaths will not be accepted). Be sure to take off all of the lights, ornaments, tinsel, and garland, and remove the metal or plastic stand. Set the bare tree at the curb. If your tree is taller than 6 feet, please cut it in half for safe and easy collection. Thank you for your cooperation.

Holiday Overnight Parking Enforcement Relaxation

In the spirit of the holidays, the Alhambra Police Department has placed a moratorium on overnight parking enforcement. The moratorium is effective from Saturday, December 21, 2019 beginning at 2:00 am through Sunday, January 5, 2020. Overnight parking enforcement will resume on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 2:00 am.

Holiday Daytime Parking Relaxation

All daytime parking enforcement (including street sweeping) will be suspended on December 31, 2019 and January 1, 2020. Daytime parking enforcement will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 7:00 am.

Have a safe and Happy New Year!
