Effective July 6, 2020, the Community Development Department is open Monday - Thursday by appointment only. Make an appointment with a Planner or Building Official below.
Other departments within City Hall and the Utilities Customer Service Center are open from 7:00 am - 12 pm, Monday - Thursday. Afternoon meetings are available by appointments only, please call 626-570-5007.
Please note: street sweeping and overnight parking enforcement have resumed effective May 16, 2020. Due to the countywide curfew, overnight parking enforcement was suspended for a few days in early June, however overnight parking enforcement resumed on June 4, 2020.

While City facilities will be back open, residents are encouraged to conduct their businesses through the city’s website, over the phone, or by mail to minimize gatherings.

Building and Planning Appointments:

Meetings with staff are now available Monday through Thursday for 30 minute intervals. To make an appointment to speak to Building and/or Planning, click on the City of Alhambra Appointment Calendar below. In-person meetings will take place at the Building and Planning counter located in the Community Development Department within City Hall. Zoom meetings are available upon request. If you would prefer to meet via Zoom, please specify in the "Additional Comments" section.
