 INTRODUCTION

The City of Alhambra is soliciting Proposals for a qualified Project Manager responsible for duties from feasibility study completion through the completion of construction. The City of Alhambra is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the environmental review process, the development of the RFP and the selection and oversight of the Architect. Deliverables include value engineering and bid development packages for construction, maintaining project schedules, project budget oversight, and on-site project management services through the completion of construction. The Project Manager will also assist with community outreach and other duties related to the project.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The City of Alhambra seeks to secure the services of a Project Manager (City Consultant) to represent the City throughout the design and construction of the Alhambra Community Center based on the AECOM Shorb Community Center Feasibility Study dated April 2021.  Prospective City Consultant should provide a one-page biography and a portfolio of completed projects not to exceed twenty pages, including at least three current references.  The City Consultant will be expected to perform the details of the agreement below.

Questions regarding this proposal shall be submitted via email by 5:00 PM, December 5, 2022. In response to all questions received by this date, City will issue an Addendum no later than 3 days prior to the proposal submittal due date.  The addendum will be emailed to all RFP recipients on record, and posted on City’s web site under City Bid Notices/RFPs.

In order to be considered in the selection process, interested parties shall submit five (5) copies of their Proposals no later than 4:00 PM, December 15, 2022 to:

Late submittals will be rejected. All responses must be completed as required, signed by an official or firm who is authorized to enter into a binding agreement with the City on behalf of the company.
