POST regulated positions

  • POST Pellet B Written Examination for Police Recruits
  • POST Written Examination for Police Dispatchers
  • Physical Agility Test 
  • Oral Examination
  • Background Investigation
  • Psychological Examination
  • Pre-employment Medical Examination
  • Chief’s interview for top 3 eligibles

Firefighter/Paramedic

  • Paramedic License 
  • Physical Agility Test
  • Performance examination

Non-safety positions

  • Screening for qualifying criteria such as typing speed with a valid typing certificate
  • Structured or written assessment examination
  • Performance or practical examination
  • Oral Examination
  • Department Interview for top 3 eligibles
  • Fingerprinting
