[ARCHIVED] Historical Context Statement Draft Released

The City of Alhambra is committed to engaging the community throughout the Historic Preservation Program project, both to keep the community apprised of the project status and to solicit feedback and input. To that end, join the project team for our second virtual community outreach meeting on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 6:00 pm. Our second community meeting will focus on the recently released Historical Context Statement Draft that is currently available on the City’s project website:

The draft was released for public review on December 13, 2021 and will be available on the project website until February 28, 2022. The public can review the draft and submit comments anytime to the City on before and after community meeting. All public comments will be accepted until February 28, 2022. 

The Historic Context Statement draft is an important first step that will provide the framework for the other components of the Historic Preservation Program. For up-to-date news or events, please visit the project website at
