Alhambra Parks & Recreation Spotlight - Youth Basketball Tournament
Students from nine Alhambra Unified School District schools put their best foot forward in our annual Youth Basketball Tournament! A single elimination tournament between the top six teams in each respective division was held at Almansor Park Gymnasium from March 10th to March 22nd. A total of 308 youth amongst 36 teams participated in this year's program!
The Youth Basketball program is run by the City of Alhambra’s Parks and Recreation Department in cooperation with the Alhambra Unified School District. Practices began in December and were held weekdays at the after-school sites. Mark your calendars: Registration for next season begins in December.
