Area Command

The Alhambra Police Department works under an Area Command service delivery model. The City is divided into four distinct geographic areas (Area 1, 2, 3, and 4). Each Area is monitored by a Police Commander who is held accountable for understanding the issues and concerns unique to their service area. This includes developing strategies and directing resources based on Intelligence-led policing to solve problems for our residents. The objective of this command structure is to aggressively address crime issues and improve quality of life through Community-Oriented or Problem-Oriented Policing. Visit each Area Command's page for more information.
