State's Rent Relief Program
The State has announced the launch of a CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program, intended to help income-eligible households pay rent and utilities, both for past and future payments. The decision by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to Opt-In to the statewide program will offer a singular, uniform framework to be deployed throughout California and avoid unnecessary confusion about competing programs among residents. California's COVID-19 Rent Relief can help with past due rent and utilities. To see if you qualify, visit the Housing is Key website now or call 833-430-2122. If you need help filling out the application, read through the CA Local Partner Network Resources article online to search for community-based partners to help with the application process.
