Upcoming Election: November 2, 2021

The Local and Municipal Election is coming up fast. There is important information Los Angeles County voters need to understand about how to vote, especially as the COVID-19 delta variant continues to pose a threat.  A complete list of all measures appearing on the ballot are located here. 24-Hour Drop Box Sites in Alhambra

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk and the City of Alhambra will have 2 ballot drop boxes which will be accessible for 24 hours, from October 4 - November 2, 2021. All registered and eligible voters during this election can expect to receive Vote by Mail (VBM) ballots starting on Monday, October 4. The VBM Drop Boxes will be opened on Friday, October 1. On Election Day, all Drop Boxes will be locked at 8:00pm.

Ballot Tracking

Voters can track their VBM ballot every step of the way. You can subscribe to receive real-time tracking notifications by text, email or voicemail. You can go to wheresmyballot.sos.ca.gov to get started.


If you have questions about the VBM Drop Boxes, please have call the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk offices at 800-815-2666, then choose option 2. You may also email vbmdropoff@rrcc.lacounty.gov or go to LAvote.net to use the locator tool to find Drop Boxes throughout LA County. 

Vote Center Locations

Voters in Los Angeles County have the option to cast their ballot in-person at any participating Vote Center. Vote Centers provide modern features to make voting safe, easy, and convenient. Vote Centers also serve as Vote By Mail Drop Box locations - no need to wait, simply drop off your voted ballot at the front.

Register to vote at any Vote Center

Los Angeles County residents who are US Citizens and at least 18 years of age are eligible to register to vote and cast a ballot in this election. Any eligible voter that missed the registration deadline can go to any Vote Center to register and cast a ballot through Conditional Voter Registration.
