When you need to turn on/off water utility orders, establish new service, make a payment, or arrange for a field inspection, the Alhambra Utilities Department Customer Service Center is ready to serve your needs.

The Center offers convenient adjacent free parking in the First Street Parking Structure. Situated just to the north of the Center is Shorb Garden, which provides a green, mid-city respite in a downtown filled with activity. You can enjoy a few minutes -or more - of the soothing water sound coming from the water fountain (located within a city-inspired Moorish arch), while enjoying a historic mural outside the building, and statute of James DeBarth Shorb, the father of Alhambra's water service.  Shorb Garden has been designed with xeriscape elements in mind, comprised of natural native California plant materials that promote water conservation and water awareness.
