National "Night Out" -- the Neighborhood Watch Event of the Year!

"National Night Out" Against Crime

Story/Photos from the
2007 "Night Out" in Alhambra

It's called the Neighborhood Watch event of the year, when the City of Alhambra join forces with thousands of other communities nationwide in the celebration of "America's Night Out Against Crime."

"America's Night Out Against Crime is sponsored by the Alhambra Police and Fire Departments, and features Safe Moves City, the Fire Safety House, and Safe Escape programs which enable adults and children alike to practice safety skills.  The Alhambra Citizens on Patrol is available to fingerprint Alhambra's littlest crime fighters. Plenty of free safety and security information is also available along with tips to keep your family and neighborhood safe.

And the event wouldn't be complete without free fun and entertainment. Bring your picnic blanket and/or a lawn chair and have a picnic on the lawn of the Police Department. Enjoy hot dogs, popcorn, and beverages provided by the Police & Fire Departments.  For more information, call (626) 570-5177.
