 Project Child Safe

PUT A LOCK ON GUN SAFETY IN YOUR HOME!

The Project Child Safe Firearm Safety Kit is designed to prevent a child or
any other unauthorized person from accessing a firearm and creating a tragic incident.

To ensure home safety, every Alhambra resident who owns a firearm is invited to pick up a FREE Project Child Safe Firearm Safety Kit from the City of Alhambra Crime Prevention Office – no paperwork or red tape involved! The gun lock fits most types of handguns, rifles and shotguns. It features a cable-style gun lock and safety curriculum.

The safety kit is being made available through a grant by the U.S. Department of Justice in partnership with the Project ChildSafe organization on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information on how you can obtain the kit, contact the Alhambra Police Department Crime Prevention Office at 626-570-5177 or email crimeprevention@alhambra.org.
