Registration for seniors is accepted with a photo
ID proving the age requirement and proof of
Alhambra residency (i.e., utility bill, bank
statement, etc.). Registration for disabled persons

stating that you cannot ride public transportation.

Types of Service:
Three types of service in the program are offered.

  1. For best service, advance reservations are recommended. Call at least 3 days in advance to schedule an appointment.
  2. Subscription service: If you have regular appointments, schedule a ride on a daily or weekly basis. You must call to cancel your appointment or your ride will automatically arrive at the scheduled time.
  3. Demand response: In an emergency, you may call the same day for a ride, and you will be served as space allows. Every effort will be made to arrive on time and to accommodate your specific needs. All vehicles are equipped with wheelchair lifts; however, when making reservations consider that extra time may be required to assist wheelchair-bound and frail passengers on and off the vehicle. If you are physically disabled or frail, and need assistance, we encourage you to bring an escort. Drivers cannot escort you from or into any building. When making a reservation, notify the dispatcher that you will need two seats. Because medical appointments always have priority, on occasion you may be asked to reschedule social, banking or shopping appointments to accommodate someone with an emergency medical appointment. We will do the same for you, should you have a medical emergency.

Additional Guidelines:
Senior Ride is a free service and very much in demand. You can help everyone by following these simple guidelines:

  1. Wait outside in front of your pick-up address
  2. Be ready 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time
  3. If you are picked up more than 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, inform us at (626) 570-5088
  4. Call to cancel any appointment you do no need.
  5. There is a limit of 4 packages per person when attending group grocery runs.
