Filming Permit Certificate

  • Any individual or company planning to film/tape a program or event within the City limits should contact the City Finance Dept. at least two weeks prior to the filming date, and should submit a letter requesting permission to film, detailing the specifics of the filming project.

  • The filming company must submit a Business License Application , Film Permit Application and Certificate of Insurance (naming the City of Alhambra as an additional insured) to the Finance Department and pay all fees

  • The filming company should also contact the Public Works Department to determine whether an "Obstruction Permit" will be necessary.

  • The filming company should contact the Fire and Police Departments to coordinate personnel providing security and safety services during the filming. Fees for this service are invoiced after the event. Receipt of payment for all departments must be verified prior to final approval in order to issue a Filming Permit Certificate.
