Qualified Limited-Income Homeowners


 
RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION PROGRAMS THROUGH THE CITY OF ALHAMBRA
 

 

  • City of Alhambra offers two financial assistance programs to help income-qualified property owners in well-maintained and
    deteriorated areas to upgrade their properties inside 
    and outside at little or no cost
    1) Minor Rehabilitation Grant Program - up to $10,000 
    2) Major Rehabilitation Program - $10,001 and up

ENERGY SAVINGS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM THROUGH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON

 

 

  • Southern California Edison  offers no-cost energy-efficient appliances and equipment to qualified limited-income homeowners and renters, including cooling measures, refrigerator replacement, pool pump replacement, weatherization services and lighting.

ENERGY SAVINGS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM THROUGH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GAS CO.

 

 

  • Southern California Gas Company offers no-cost energy-
    saving home improvements and furnace repair for qualified
    limited-income
    homeowners and renters, including
    attic
    insulation, door weather-stripping, caulking, low-flow shower
    heads and faucet aerators, water heater blankets, pipe
    insulation, faucet aerators, minor repairs to exterior doors
    and/or windows, furnace and water heater repair/
    replacement (owner-occupied only), high-efficiency
    clothes washers and more.

LOW-INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE (WEATHERIZATION) THROUGH LIHEAP

 

 

  • Free weatherization services are available to low-income property owners and renters through local service providers through a program administered by the California
    Department of Community Services and Development. 
  • Weatherization is the process of making your home more
    "air tight" and more energy efficient.
