 PROPOSED NEW PROJECTS:

 

  CASITA DE ZEN - PROPOSED MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT
229-240 WEST MAIN STREET (NE CORNER OF THIRD & MAIN)
 
a five-story mixed-use development proposed by Casita de Zen, LLC, comprised of 92 residential condominium units and up to 5,000 square feet of commercial space with the capability to include two restaurants.


BABIES 'R' US - PROPOSED RETAIL EXPANSION PROJECT
COMMONWEALTH & FREMONT AVENUE
(NOW UNDER CONSTRUCTION)

  
The City has agreed to a lease extension and amended agreement with Toys 'R' Us, Inc., including an allowance to remodel the buiding for placement of a "Babies 'R' Us component, and option for the City to lease out the second floor to an appliance store and/or first-class national soft goods/apparent retailers.


 
 

 
CITY VENTURES PROJECT - PROPOSED MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT
FORMER LIBRARY SITE AT 410 WEST MAIN STREET (BOUNDED BY 4TH & 5TH STREETS)
 
This project, proposed by City Ventures, LLC, calls for a four-story mixed-use development including approximately 8,340 square feet of retail space with pedestrian-friendly promenade areas,
as well as 88 residential units that will be bound by a courtyard area.


 

 

MOSAIC LIZARD THEATER - PROPOSED 50-SEAT LIVE PERFORMANCE THEATER
112 WEST MAIN STREET
 
The City has entered into a lease agreement with Mosaic Lizard Theater, LLC for a 
50-seat live performance theater that will have the capacity to draw larger audiences
and feature matinee performances and workshops.



 
THE VILLAGES AT THE ALHAMBRA - PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT
ON THE ALHAMBRA CAMPUS AT THE INTERSECTION OF DATE & ORANGE AVENUE
  
The Villages at The Alhambra are slated for 2010 and will be an integral part of The Alhambra's
urban community. The project will include over 300 homes built using sustainable, "green" principles. The townhomes and flats will be connected by meandering paths, pocket parks, courtyards and
grand open malls with glorious views of the San Gabriel mountains.
