Welcome to Granada Park!

Granada Park offers an open grass area, picnic tables with covered shelters, playground equipment, barbecues, rest rooms, ball fields, tennis courts, meeting room, kitchen facility, and a heated swimming pool (81-82 degrees).

    The Alhambra Park Pool office will be open for Summer 2010 swim lesson Registration on Monday, Wednesday and Friday ONLY from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m., beginning Wednesday June 2, 2010.  For more information, call 626-570-5051 or 626-570-5093.
     
    The Almansor Park office will be open for swim registration, Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. For more information, call 626-540-5081.

    * Recreation swimming participants must be at least 8 years old for admission. Children under 8, and below 48-inches tall, must be accompanied by an adult guardian (18 years of age or older) in the water at all times. There must be one parent/guardian for every two children. Appropriate swim suits are required. For safety precautions, admission to the Granada Park Children's Pool may be limited based on caacity standards, and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Notations:
 
1) Child to adult ratio is 2 to 1. No goggles or floatation devices are allowed.  Appropriate swimsuits are required. Swim diapers are required for children who are not toilet trained.
  
2) There are no board games during recreational swimming hours.
 
3) During times of low attendance the activity may end earlier than posted times. For safety precautions, admission may be limited based on available lifeguards. These are some general guidelines. More detailed rules are posted at each site.
