RESPONSIBILITIES OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
  • City Clerk (Lauren Myles, City Clerk)  - coordinates and prepares agendas for City Council meetings and records official proceedings. Also maintains vital statistics of the city and oversees elections, as well as coordinates official city ceremonies as directed by the Mayor.
     
  • Customer Service - supervises/manages the City Hall Lobby and Administrative Services Information Desk located on the first floor of City  Hall.
     
  • Televised City Council Meetings - Re-broadcasts are aired at 7:30 p.m. on "off-Mondays" and Thursday evenings following the "live" council meeting on Channel 3 (Charter only). Meetings can also be viewed ONLINE. DVD copies are available at the Civic Center Library (during regualr library hours) and at the City Clerk's Office (any weekday, Monday- Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) Copies may be purchased from the City Clerk for $10. Call 626-570-5090 in advance to have the tape set up for your viewing, or to be copied for purchase.
     
  • Public Information & Promotions - (Colleen Commentz, Marketing & Communications Specialist/ Webmaster) - promotes the mission and objectives of the City, and keeps various constituents informed about news and events taking place in Alhambra. Specifically this includes the City's local newspaper, Around Alhambra and other local media, City's website and Channel 3. Additional outreach activities include coordination of the City Hall Art Gallery, and presentations to various community groups according to need. For more information, call 626-570-5090.
