City of Alhambra (626) 570-5056 29 SENIOR OUTINGS SENIOR OUTINGS Registration is required for all Senior Outings. To register, come to the Joslyn Adult Center or register online at cityofalhambra. org on or after the designated “trip registration” date. Registration will be accepted during regular office hours, Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Registrants may purchase a maximum of two tickets per household per trip during the first week of trip sales. If more tickets are desired registrants may come back after the initial week of sales to purchase additional tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the Joslyn Center with cash (exact amount), check or money order (payable to the City of Alhambra), orVisa/MasterCard/Discover. Tickets are non-refundable. You must pay by credit card for all online transactions. When all tickets are sold, a waiting list is established. All Outings include round-trip deluxe motor coach transportation. **New outings can be added with little notice. Visit or call the Joslyn Adult Center regularly to receive up-to-date information. *If you have a physical disability and require special assistance, notify staff at time of registration to assure that we can accommodate your needs. The following rating scale has been implemented to help you select the trip that is right for you: Easy: Generally only light walking. Moderate: Some walking is necessary. Should be able to stand and/or walk for a longer period of time without assistance. Active: Better physical condition is necessary. Lots of walking involved. This docent-led tour will take you through the 2 year process of what its takes to become a Guide Dog. We will tour the campus, visit the kennels and see a video of the actual dog training. From fine dining to casual fare, fabulous fashions and one of a kind boutiques, you are sure to find something. Next stop is an icon of Los Angeles, the Griffith Observatory. The Samuel Oschin Planetarium has a spectacular Zeiss star projector, laser seats, sound system, and theatrical lighting and 285-seats. Planetarium show tickets are on your own.
