With the help of the community’s insight, a draft of the Alhambra General Plan Update has been completed. Over 760 residents have participated in general plan update surveys, over 150 residents have attended the two previous community workshops, and the Alhambra General Plan has been updated to create a future vision that reflects Alhambra’s current community values, priorities, and concerns.

Now please join us for Community Workshop No. 3, where we will present the draft of the plan and the new concepts that will guide the future of Alhambra, including urban design concepts and historic preservation policies.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Reese Hall at the Civic Center Library (101 S. First Street, Alhambra). The meeting will include a short presentation of the plan updates and the plan’s environmental review process. This will be followed by an open house to discuss the updates related to land use and community design, mobility, resources, and other topics, including the plan’s Environmental Impact Report (EIR). The workshop will also serve as the Scoping Meeting for the General Plan Update’s EIR. The June 14th workshop is an opportunity for residents and community members to see how their ideas, concepts, and general input have been incorporated into Alhambra’s vision for the future.
