Provides free assistance to Alhambra seniors 60 and older and functionally impaired adults 18 and older, so they can live independently and safely in their homes for as long as possible. The program, co-funded by the Los Angeles County Area Agency on Aging, provides information in English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Spanish. Caseworkers can assist in providing contacts pertaining to Medicare, Medi-Cal and Social Security, and serve as advocates for medical and mental health referrals, in-home service referrals, transportation, nutritional referrals, counseling and more. |
