Alhambra Summer Jubilee

The Alhambra Summer Jubilee offers 
exciting summer entertainment featuring
well-known entertainers, along with
scores of food vendors, games, an arts
& crafts fair, children's activities, and
much more. The free evening event is
held on South Second Street, between
Main Street and Commonwealth Avenue.

City of Alhambra Certified Farmer's Market (Every Sunday except Easter)

Do you savor fruits and vegetables that
are tasty and chock full of vitamins and minerals for good health? Then, you'll
want to make a trip to Alhambra's Farmer's Market which is held every Sunday rain or shine (except Easter) from 8 a.m. to 1p.m.
on Monterey Street––one block east of
Garfield and one block south of Main St.
There are over 600 varieties of fresh fruits
and vegetables, as well as various kinds
of flowers and plants. For more information,

City of Alhambra Flea Market

The Alhambra Flea Market is held twice
per year
from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in
the Joslyn Center parking lot, 210 North
Chapel Avenue. Sellers may bring used or hand-crafted items. Selling spaces are available to all residents on a first-come,
first-served basis, and applications are available at the Alhambra Park Office,
500 North Palm Avenue. Admission to the
Flea Market for shoppers, is FREE!

San Gabriel Valley Lunar New Year's Parade & Festival (Sat., Feb. 16, 2008)

This free annual event, which coincides with
the celebration of the Chinese Lunar New
Year, is presented by the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce and hosted by the cities of Alhambra and San Gabriel. Each year, the world-renown street festival attracts more
than 50,000 people and is broadcast live
on KWRM 1370 AM Chinese radio and
ETTV cable television. The event features
a dragon, lion dance and acrobatic martial
arts, parade, 200 booths, Volvo Auto Square,
carnival, children's drawing and coloring contests, ancestor worship ceremony and much more. For more information, see
