2012 FESTIVAL: Event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012
 
Annual world-renown event celebrates the Lunar New Year and features a street festival with dragon and lion dances, acrobatic martial arts, booths, carnival, children's drawing and coloring contests, ancestor worship ceremony and much more. Attracts more than 50,000 people and is broadcast live on KWRM 1370 AM Chinese radio and ETTV cable television.

Held the first Sunday in June, this community event provides an opportunity for participants to enjoy the unlimited flavors of Alhambra’s diverse restaurants; delightful wines, brews and spirits; on-site cigar shop and martini bar; and live music and dancing.

Weekly free outdoor market, held on Sundays from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. (rain or shine, except Easter) features fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers and plants, and more.

 

Alhambra Community Flea Market

Joslyn Center Parking Lot, 210 N. Chapel Ave.

Flea Market is held bi-annually from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Admission is free for shoppers. Sellers may bring used or hand-crafted items. Selling spaces are available to all residents on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications can be picked up at the Alhambra Park Office, 500 N. Palm Ave.
