Wahib's Website

Wahib's Middle Eastern Restaurant, long a staple of Alhambra and the San Gabriel Valley, offers superb Middle Eastern cuisine. The restaurant sprouted from humble beginnings. Owner Wahib Wahby was born in Lebanon and lived on a street there called Alhambra. As fate would have it, Wahib ended up immigrating with his wife, Ikbal, in 1979, and two years later opened up a tiny 600 sq. ft. restaurant in Alhambra.

Over time the restaurant has grown and can now seat 300 guests and also as a private banquet room that is frequently festively filled with live music and belly dancing. But it's the food that has fueled Wahib's success. In fact, a review by the Los Angeles Times called it the best Lebanese restaurant from Hollywood to Detroit.

Mediterrean-style breakfast dishes are comprised of eggs with beef (or chicken) kebab -- or eggs with lamb. For lunch or dinner, menu items include a wide range of salads; sandwiches; chicken, beef, lamb or shrimp kebabs; falafel; shawarma, lamb chops and even quail and frog legs. Wahib's offers a weekend "Brunch Menu" along with other specials throughout the week-- as well as a 11-item buffet.
