Twohey's has been family-owned and operated since 1943.

Twohey's - Home of the 'Little Sinko'

1224 North Atlantic Boulevard
(Huntington & Atlantic)
(626) 284-7387
Website

Open seven days per week
Sun.-Thurs., 7 a.m.-11 p.m.
Fri. & Sat., 7 a.m. - Midnight

Although not exactly located in
Alhambra's Downtown, Twohey's
has long been at the center of
Alhambra culture. Generations of
Alhambra residents (and those
of nearby communities) have
come to celebrate, impress a
special date, cap-off a
successful meeting, class or
lecture, have a family reunion, etc.

Most revered on their menu is the "Stinko-Burger," so named by a patron in 1943 - the year Twohey's opened in Pasadena - because of the smell of a hamburger generously garnished with onions.

Breakfast is served all day, as are the soda fountain treats, and is a major draw for local residents. The choices (including a Twohey's favorite, the "Old Fashioned" Breakfast) are featured in an entire page (in small print) on their menu.

Twohey's also offers a wide variety of salads, sandwiches (including clubs, melts and classics). Although the restaurant offers many so-called "NEW" items, many long-time customers continue to order classic favorites, including the Chef's Salad, Classic BLT, and the Oven Baked Meat Loaf. To finish off your meal, you'll have to decide between such favorites as the "Famous" Hot Fudge Sunday, Banana Split Royal, Root Beer Float and Double-Thick Milk Shake.

And while some dishes may be calorie-rich, Twohey chefs use only trans fat-free and cholestrol-free cooking oils, and they'll prepare your meal without oil, butter or seasoning if you so desire.

For seniors, there is a 10 percent discount (for those 60 years of age and older) on breakfasts, salads, sandwiches and dinners (except for the Daily Special).
