After three years of successfully operating a store on Main Street, Nucleus has moved a few doors down the street to a new downtown location at 210 East Main Street. The "hip" art store and art gallery is the brainchild of local artist, Ben Zhu, a graduate of the Pasadena Art Center College of Design.

Art and innovation are at the center of everything at Nucleus, and you'll find your senses challenged and expanded as you check out the large selection of books, including many "Art of ..." titles, sketch books, and artistic, handmade, "one-ofs" that you will never find any where else. Nucleus has toys and toy-collectibles for all ages--handmade, metal, plastic, vinyl, and, of course, all artistically inspired. You'll also find T-shirts, tote bags, and many other accessories.

Although Nucleus carries an expansive collection of arty "stuff," as Zhu puts it, Nucleus is more gallery-centered. The gallery is located on the ground floor (as opposed to the previous location) and features monthly exhibits of new and exciting art.
