Yazmin Malaysian Restaurant, located near the Alhambra Renaissance Plaza, is your chance to experience a feast of the subtle flavors and complex spices of Malaysian cooking. Malaysian, while closely related to Indonesian cuisine (but derived from Indian, Chinese and Dutch influences, and others), is worthy of further exploration.

The menu at Yazmin is varied--ranging from rice dishes and noodle soups to meats and vegetables served with white rice. The most popular dish is the Hainanese Roasted Chicken Rice, pieces of boneless roasted chicken served with chicken rice. Also popular are the Ayam Nangka Lemak--chicken with jackfruit, coconut milk, chili, lemon grass and curry sauce. Curry Laksa--noodles served with shrimp, chicken and toful in curry soup--is another favorite.

Additional menu items include fried noodle dishes, including the Indian Mee Goreng (noodles with bean sprouts, shrimp, chicken, egg and leeks)  and Char Kuei Teow (flat egg noodles, bean sprouts, shrimp, chicken, egg and leeks).

Lunch items are available for many items including all the above for just $4.95. Evening prices for these items range from $5.95-6.75.  Visa & Mastercard are accepted, and no reservations are required.
