Bluecherry Yogurt is the dream of owner/president Kai Gong (a San Gabriel resident who lived in Alhambra for several years.) Alhambra's new location is the first of what Gong hopes will be a chain of Bluecherry Yogurt Bars throughout the area.

A contractor by trade (up to this point), he took over a year too design the store and experiment with various yogurt recipes and flavors. He has also provided the design for the color scheme and furniture, thereby creating a pleasant atmosphere for individuals and groups to enjoy the available trendy magazines, playing cards, music viceos, and WiFi connection (for the electronically-gifted).
