Filming Permit Certificate

  • Any individual or company planning to film/tape a program or event within the City limits should contact the City Finance Dept. at least two weeks prior to the filming date, and should submit a letter requesting permission to film, detailing the specifics of the filming project.

  • The filming company must submit a Business License Application , Film Permit Application and Certificate of Insurance (naming the City of Alhambra as an additional insured) to the Finance Department and pay all fees.

  • At a minimum, filming in the City will require two Police Officers and one Fire Department representative to coordinate security and safety services during the filming. Filming may also require an "Obstruction Permit," issued by the Public Works Department.

  • Contact the Finance Department staff by calling (626) 570-3272 to help you coordinate your paperwork and to submit your fees.
