  Bidding Opportunities with the City of Alhambra

The City of Alhambra makes it easy to apply for bidding opportunities and to learn of needed products and services through this online Bidding Opportunities page.

Bidder's List Application Form:
Companies with relevant products or services are invited to fill out a Bidder's List Application form that will be entered into a centralized database containing pertinent company information on the firm's general product line or services. The compiled data is available to all municipal departments so that bid notices can be distributed to qualified vendors for particular products or services. (All information provided on this form and any subsequent proposal or contract is subject to public disclosure under the Public Records Act.)

If you would like to learn about future bidding opportunities with the City of Alhambra, please click open the form above and download to your PC, so it can be printed, filled out and returned to city staff. A City of Alhambra business license is not needed to fill out the form, although it will be required if a contract is subsequently awarded. If you are a local business with a product or service that may be applicable to the City's needs, please take a few minutes to establish your eligibility.   • NOTICE INVITING SEALED BIDS (N2M9-64)
    Installation of Playground Equipment for Emery and Alhambra Parks
      
    The City of Alhambra invites bids for playground equipment at Emery Park and Alhambra Park tot lots. Based on grant funding requirements for the project, the equipment must be made from recycled plastic materials, such as plastic milk jugs.  The equipment proposed for Emery Park includes apparatus that can accommodate approximately 30 children in the two to twelve age group such as slides, monkey bars, rock climbing arches, tubes and tunnels, and various activity panels. This installation will included a Poured-in-Place (PIP) rubber surface, made of recycled materials covering the fall zone. The equipment for Alhambra Park is intended for the 8+ age group. This equipment includes a free-standing rock wall (approximately 8-ft high) and a free-standing rock-climbing tower (approximately 8-ft. high with fall zones).   • NOTICE INVITING SEALED BIDS (N2M9-75)
    Garfield Reservoir Coating Project
      
    The City of Alhambra invites bids for the interior coating and exterior painting of
    Garfield Reservoir #2. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting at 10:00 a.m.
    on June 23, 2009, to be held at the Alhambra City Yard. The cost of a hardcopy of 
    the bid specifications and plans is $50, and an additional $10 to send by mail.

    FY 2008-10 "Security Vulnerability" Construction Project (Utilities Dept.)
      
    The City of Alhambra invites bids for its Security Vulnerability Project at various water sites. The project will involve fencing, scale work, etc. There will be a mandatory
    pre-bid meeting at 10:00 a.m. on June 23, 2009, to be held at the Alhambra City Yard.  The cost of a hardcopy of the bid specifications and plans is $50, and an additional $10 to send by mail. For additional information about this project, click here, or
